Now anybody whos really into mythology knows that this is not a true Harpy but this is just my version of it. A real harpy is said to be half female and half bird thats ugly and lives in an atmosphere of filth and stench. You can see that is not the case here, but I thought that the title fits anyway.
This actually started out as a test piece, I wanted to add more textures to my work and make it more abstract. I kept making changes to it and ended up here, back to my regular style of doing things.

UPDATE : I made a few changes, worked on scales a bit more, added Claw to hand, and a few misc things.

All stock is my own.

Absolutely stunning artwork - beautiful model which definitely attributes to the overall effect. The expression on her face definitely ties in, creating an interesting aura - I adore this LOL. +Fave. <3
