Artist's Comments

Started with a photo of my Son who wanted me to do one of my Photomanipulations with him. Started with a simple shot of him in Pain and one thing lead to another and heres what I finished with.

All Photography is my own (no stock photos). This image was made up of the following......Pic of my Son, chains, pipe, wall, chicken breast, tree 1, tree 2, photoshop made light and plugs.

Brilliant manipulation, is that a slug-like creature?, if so, is it delivering pain
or extracting it? Pain holds both traits anyway so perhaps it matters not

Thank you everybody for your comments. Ya my manips tend to be a little twisted. I want to have the subject in torture/pain position. I was going to have just his arms chained as the tree and the vines devour him. Then I thought hey lets have his arms turn into chains, it was a last minute decision. Im glad I made it because I think it really makes the image.

Hopefully in between my 2 jobs and my kidsI will be able to do allot more of these. Its the reason I first bought a computer so many years ago.

one of my favorites from your collection o stuff...you do need to get the rest of your work up here though :D

I really dig the arms ant the torso part...where the stomach ends...thats just cool looking...Only thing that bugs me abotu this picture is the way teh chains meet the arms...it looks really good the way you have it, but it just doesn't seem "right" it seems liek there should be some kind of cap over the stumps that the chain is attached to or we should see some bone there with the chain through a hole in the bone or something crazy liek that...don't get me wrong, what you have is cool, but not realistic as far as physics is concerned...as far as the fantasy you've created its still quite alright...

His arms and the chains go together perfectly, as does the rest of the thing, very cool :)

Ah yes, I remember childhood. Used to play games like jump rope, hopscotch, tag, tiddlywinks, and don't step on a crack or you open a gate to hell where a tenticle beast devours your soul. "sigh" Those were the days. Nah, this pic is awesome man, you are a true photo manip wizard. That and your kids really know how to strike a pose. Keep up the good work:fuzzydemon:
