Just a simple test I was doing that got out of hand. Should have saved this for a Halloween release but here it is anyway.

All images and textures are my own except for the hand that I got from :iconfantasystock:

Looking really cool, Russ! ;) A suggestion maybe?...Add a gradient to the lighter edge of the blade and wher the darker and lighter colors meet, try adding a small hotspot to add the little gleam. It might make it a bit more metal looking! Just a thought but this still looks very cool! ;)

Thank you my friend ...... and thank you for the suggestion. I didnt like the way the blade looked myself so I took your advice. I also aged the scythe also. I may have over done it but let me know what you think.
